Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions, in addition to our privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tessa Rohrig in relation to the services we provide either at the studio, on our website or elsewhere.

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

‘Tessa Rohrig, ‘We’ or ‘Us’ means Tessa Rohrig

‘Class or Classes’ means a class or classes provided by Tessa Rohrig either on a standalone basis e.g., Pay as you go class, or as part of a Class Card e.g., 5 Class Card, or, as part of a Course
-
‘Member/s’ or ‘You’ means someone who has completed our registration form online, within the studio or through any other means.

‘Your’ shall be construed accordingly
-
‘Studio’ means the location at which the class occurs.
-
‘Course’ is a fixed number of classes over a fixed period paid for in advance before the start of the course at a discounted rate.
-
‘Cancellation window’ refers to the period of time for a class, workshop, retreat or other scheduled session where planned attendance is cancelled with a specified period of notice to create an account credit.
-
‘Pay as you go classes’ and ‘Drop-ins’ are used interchangeably.
-
‘Drop in’ refers to a single class booked in advance up to the start of the class.
-
‘Staff’ means a teacher or employed by Tessa Rohrig
-
‘Class Card’ refer to a fixed number of classes over a fixed period to be paid for in advance for any style of class offered.

By agreeing to our terms and conditions you are granted a personal, limited privilege to enter and use our studio without prejudice to our other rights. Please do not use any of these services if you disagree with any of our terms.
1. MEMBERSHIP

1.1. By completing or having had completed the Tessa Rohrig registration form on your behalf you are applying to become a member of Yin & Yoga.

1.2. Acceptance of a member is at the sole discretion of Tessa Rohrig
-
1.3. Your information is held by our third-party software supplier Wix.
-
1.4. Memberships cannot be transferred between members.
-
1.5. Tessa Rohrig reserves the right to expel anyone from the premises, terminate a membership and/or refuse to renew a membership for anyone who fails to comply with these terms and conditions.

2. PRICING & PAYMENTS

2.1. Prices are listed on our website. We reserve the right to change prices from time to time for any reason but will endeavour to give as much notice as possible.

2.2. All payments on credit or debit cards will be made in pounds sterling and at the time of payment. We are not responsible for any additional charges levied by the individual financial institutions or credit card companies.

3. BOOKING CLASSES.
-
3.1. All classes must be booked and paid for in advance online unless by prior arrangement with a member of staff.
-
3.2. Classes must be booked using your own account.
-
3.3. Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
-
3.4. Classes cannot be rolled over into a subsequent term and must be used within the term originally bought for.
-
3.5. If you sign up for the waiting list, you will automatically be added into the class if another person makes a cancellation outside the cancellation window.
-
3.6. When cancellations are made within the cancellation window, Staff may be elect to move a member from the waiting list to the class. In doing so, an email notification may be sent to the Member.

4. 5 or 20 CLASS CARDS
-
4.1. Valid for any 5 classes 2 months from the date of purchase/ Valid for any 20 classes 4 months from the date of purchase

4.2. Classes must be booked in the name of the purchaser only.
-
4.3. Classes cannot be transferred between members.
-
4.4. Class cards will not be extended.
-
4.5. Class cards are not refundable once purchased.

5. PAY AS YOU GO CLASSES
-
5.1. Valid for 4 weeks from the time of purchase
-
5.2. Classes must be booked in the name of the purchaser only.
-
5.3. Classes cannot be transferred between members.
-
5.4. Pay as you go classes will not be extended.
-
5.5. Pay as you go classes are not refundable once purchased.

6. BOOKING COURSES/WORKSHOPS
-
6.1. Courses can only be booked online in advance from up to around 7 days before the course starts.
-
6.2. Courses must be booked using your own account.
-
6.3. Course bookings cannot be made after the course has started.
-
6.4. Courses cannot be booked or paid for with the app and must be made online.
-
6.5. Courses cannot be transferred between members and are not refundable once booked.
-
6.6. Cancellation policy does not apply to courses.
-
6.7. Courses cannot be rolled over into a subsequent term and must be used within the term originally bought for.

7. CANCELLATIONS
-
7.1. Studio Classes must be cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice (cancellation window) online or through the app. Online Classes must be cancelled with at least 12 hours’ notice.
-
7.2. workshop must be cancelled with at least 72 hours’ notice (cancellation window) online or through the app.
-
7.3. Private yoga classes (appointments) must be cancelled by phone with at least 24 hours’ notice (cancellation window) before the scheduled appointment.
-
7.4. Workshops must be cancelled with at least 72 hours’ notice (cancellation window) online or contacting Tessa Rohrig 07557418228.
-
7.5. Retreats must be cancelled with at least 14 days written notice.
-
7.6. Cancellations made by any other means are not valid.
-
7.7. Specific cancellation terms may apply to Retreats and Workshops which will be advertised in corresponding publicity for such events.
-
7.8. Cancellations that do not meet the cancellation requirements will not be credited to your account.
-
7.9. If a member continually ‘late cancels’ i.e., cancels a class with less notice than stipulated in the cancellation policy, we reserve the right to remove the member from future classes.
-
7.10. Cancellations made within the cancellation window will be charged in full and result in a ‘late cancellation.’
-
7.11. Cancellations made outside the cancellation window will result in an ‘early cancellation’ and a corresponding account credit will be created.
-
7.12. If you are unable to attend a booked class, you must cancel or reschedule online or contact 07557418228.

7.13. If Tessa Rohrig cancels a class, we will credit your account with a class but no refund will be given.

8. HEALTH AND SAFETY
-
8.1. You acknowledge that you are fully aware that the participation in classes or workshops involves risks and that you accept all the risks of participating.
-
8.2. You affirm that you are in proper physical condition to participate in any activity associated with Tessa Rohrig and its classes and are aware that there are risks in participating in any physical activity, potentially that which could result in injury, serious injury or death.

8.3. If you have been found to suffer from high blood pressure, heart disease or any known contraindication, you will have submitted a letter from your doctor to Tessa Rohrig giving consent for me to take part in classes.

8.4. You agree to keep Tessa Rohrig informed in writing with any medical or health issues (including being under or overweight, falling pregnant, nursing, recent or pending operations, high or low blood pressure and anything else that may affect your ability to participate in class without risk to health and safety)

8.5. You agree to follow all instructions provided to you by the teacher as to when, where and how to perform and not to perform the yoga postures. It being understood that any deviation by you from the teachers’ instructions shall be at your own risk.

8.6. You agree to not to hold Tessa Rohrig or staff responsible for any injuries, damages or losses suffered by me whilst practicing yoga with them.

8.7. You agree to declare all injuries, illness, pregnancy, and medication being taken whilst filling out the registration form. If any of these changes you will make us aware as soon as possible.

8.8. You will notify staff of any pain or discomfort felt during or before class.
-
8.9. As staff are not medically trained, they are not qualified to assess whether a member is in a good physical condition or whether taking part in a class will be detrimental to their health.

8.10. A member should not enter the studio if they have any infections, contagious illnesses, or diseases.

9. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
-
9.1. Tessa Rohrig nor its staff shall be responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of property, including bicycles left inside or outside the studio by you or your guest.

9.2. All vehicles and bikes parked or locked outside of our premises are left at the owner’s risk and Tessa Rohrig cannot be held responsible for consequent losses or damage.

9.3. Tessa Rohrig cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, illness or, in the worst circumstance death which happens on our premises or because of our facilities or services provided.

9.4. Tessa Rohrig cannot be held responsible if classes, teachers, or equipment are not available or for any changes which are made to classes or teachers last minute or without notice.

9.5. We do not accept any liability in connection with any third-party websites which may be linked or accessible through our own site, and we do not approve or endorse the content of such sites unless explicitly stated.

10. AGE REQUIREMENTS
-
10.1. Minimum age to participate in any class is 12 years old at the time of registration.
-
10.2. Members under the age of 18 at the time of registration are required to have their registration forms co-signed by their parent or guardian and must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or designated responsible adult during class.

10.3. Parents, guardians or designated responsible adults are responsible for the behaviour and health and safety of any child accompanying them.

11. GENERAL
-
11.1. Members must report to staff before attending each class.
-
11.2. Members agree to observe any signage within the class venue and instructions provided by staff.
-
11.3. In the event of a fire members must follow staff instructions and note the fire safety instructions as advertised in the studio and use the nearest exit available, leaving all belongings behind.

11.4. Members are required to dress appropriately and to walk on the studio bare footed only.

11.5. All shoes should be left in the designated shoe storage area.
-
11.6. By coming to Tessa Rohrig class venues, you consent to having your photograph taken and being videoed from time to time. These may be used for social media or marketing purposes. If you do not want your photograph taken, please notify us in writing.

11.7. Members must notify Tessa Rohrig of any changes of address, email address or phone number. If such changes are not notified, we will presume that all communications and notices have been received.

11.8. You agree to notify Tessa Rohrig immediately if there is an unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security but always acknowledge that you remain responsible for the confidentiality of your account and passwords.

11.9. Any abuse of the booking system will result in your membership being terminated with immediate effect.

11.10. Tessa Rohrig may communicate by email and by giving us your email, you give us consent to communicate with you in this way.

11.11. We may on occasion host special offers or promotions, which may have different or temporary terms and conditions.

11.12. Any marketing, educational documents, website content, logo, pictures, or other materials produced by Tessa Rohrig remain the property of Tessa Rohrig.

11.13. If Tessa Rohrig choose to waive or breach these terms and conditions this does not stop them following these terms and conditions at a later date (or any part of them)

11.14. These terms and conditions are subject to English law.

11.15. When buying products from Tessa Rohrig, goods are returnable for refund or exchange 14 days from purchase if the goods are returned unopened in the same condition as when they were sold. This does not affect your statutory rights.

11.16. Late comers or no shows will not be admitted to class and no refunds or class credits will be given.

12. DATA PROTECTION

12.1. Any personal information that is given to us will be collected, stored and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy which is available through the website.

12.2. While we take all precautions to ensure your personal information is kept safe, we cannot be held responsible for any unauthorised access.
